ABC Developing Legal Drama ‘Con Law’ From Joey Falco, 20th Television
ABC is developing Con Law, an original legal drama created by writer/executive producer Joey Falco in partnership with 20th Television. The series follows a high-flying corporate attorney who is wrongfully convicted of murdering her husband, losing her freedom, career and daughter, before being exonerated six years later and joining a small Brooklyn defence firm to fight for underdogs against the system, while also seeking the truth behind the crime that upended her life.
Falco will executive produce alongside Jordan Cerf for Linden Productions, and comes to the project fresh off producing NBC's whodunit pilot Puzzled. His credits include stints on Sleepy Hollow and Treadstone, co-showrunning The CW's Charmed, and creating the 2023 ABC legal thriller pilot Judgement starring Sarah Shahi and Reid Scott. He is currently also developing projects for Netflix and New Regency, a feature rom-com at Amazon with Berlanti Productions, and a TV adaptation of his 2025 debut novel Blood on the Vine, which is under option with Gaumont Studios.
