ABC is developing *Dive*, a crime drama set in New Orleans that follows an elite team of police divers and investigators solving cases beneath the water’s surface. The series is being developed by Steven Kane with 20th Television and Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks, and could potentially become a franchise if successful.

The project remains in early development, with no casting confirmed. Kane, known for *Jack Ryan*, *Halo* and *The Last Ship*, is attached alongside executive producer Kristina Sorenson, while Seven Bucks has previously produced *Ballers*, *Young Rock* and *The Titan Games*. The New Orleans setting is central to the concept because of the city’s close relationship with water.
