Actors Abigail Breslin, Yasmin Kassim and Booboo Stewart have been cast in "Pipe Cleaner Boy," a female-led road trip comedy marking the feature directorial debut of writer-director Anna Rose Moore. The project brings together an Oscar-nominated star with rising talent in a story aimed at resonating with younger audiences, and it represents a notable step up for Moore, who previously wrote the upcoming BuzzFeed Studios comedy "Adulting."

The film follows Breslin's character Rachel, whose life falls apart after she catches her fiancé cheating and loses her job; convinced it is karmic payback, she embarks on a cross-country road trip with her best friend Leeza (Kassim) to find and make amends with a boy from her past. Filming begins in October in Oklahoma City, produced by Brynn Lucas, Charles Papert (who also serves as cinematographer) and Mark Myers, in association with Cris Cordero's Paravox, with casting by Ricki Maslar.
