## Key points

- BURN ETERNAL’s debut album is due in February 2027.
- Dutkiewicz says there is enough material for a second record.
- Jones wrote most of the debut’s lyrics and vocal melodies.

## Summary

Adam Dutkiewicz says he already has enough material for a second BURN ETERNAL album, the project he formed with former KILLSWITCH ENGAGE singer Howard Jones. The news suggests the pair intend to continue working together after their long-delayed debut arrives.

The self-titled first album is due on 26 February 2027 through Metal Blade, and its debut single, “Wounds I’ve Made”, was released on 5 November. Dutkiewicz wrote the songs during the pandemic; Jones supplied most of the first album’s lyrics and vocal melodies, with Dutkiewicz offering some production and songwriting suggestions. He says the record had been finished for about four years and that work on a follow-up can begin when Jones writes lyrics for the new material.
