## Summary

Adam Fox scored a goal and added an assist in the Rangers’ 3-1 win over St Louis, ending a four-game losing streak. His expanded role on both power-play units underlined his importance to the team as it reshapes its special teams.

Fox has 19 points in 16 games, the third-highest total among NHL defencemen, and is on pace for 99 points, well above his career best of 74. He played 5:26 of the Rangers’ six power-play minutes and nearly four minutes on the penalty kill; coach Mike Sullivan said Fox may stay on for extended spells when the team keeps the puck in the attacking zone. It remains unclear whether the approach will continue once Sean Durzi returns from injury.
