Adam Scott said his daughter’s acting class was shown his unsuccessful audition for “The Office” alongside John Krasinski’s successful tape, as a lesson in what not to do. The “Severance” actor recounted the incident on “The Tonight Show”, joking that he had become an example of poor audition technique, while his daughter was embarrassed by the comparison.
Krasinski was cast as Jim Halpert in NBC’s “The Office”, which ran from 2005 to 2013, while Scott later found sitcom success in “Parks and Recreation”, broadcast from 2009 to 2015. Scott also said “Severance” season three is filming in New York without a confirmed release date; his film “The Whisper Man”, co-starring Robert De Niro, is due on Netflix on 28 August.
