Adobe has launched a new integration bringing more than 70 tools from its creative and productivity applications directly into Slack, allowing users to complete design and editing tasks without leaving the chat platform. The move mirrors a similar plugin Adobe recently released for ChatGPT, suggesting a near-identical underlying implementation, and reflects a broader push by software makers to embed their tools into everyday workplace communication apps.

The integration covers features from Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Stock and Lightroom, and is available now to Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ customers across web, mobile and desktop. It follows earlier Model Context Protocol integrations with Canva and Figma that Slack introduced in June, and while an Adobe account isn't required to use the app, having one unlocks fuller access. Once installed, users can message Slackbot to perform tasks such as turning spreadsheets into visuals, creating marketing content from templates, or bulk-editing images, drawing on assets from Slack channels, Canvases and Adobe Creative Cloud.
