## Summary

Stephen Graham says Apple TV’s crime thriller Nocturne shares themes with his Netflix series Adolescence, particularly the way serious crimes affect families and communities. He also sees both shows as exploring why people commit harmful acts and what audiences might learn from them.

In Nocturne, Graham plays Jurek Walter, a criminal connected to the disappearance of two children; the story is set in the small town of Fairhaven. The article draws a parallel with Adolescence, which follows the aftermath of a girl’s murder and the effects on the boy accused and his family. The first two episodes of Nocturne are available to stream, with new episodes due each Friday through 25 December 2026.
