## Key points

- PS5 footage shows GTA 6’s visual ambition and technical compromises.
- A PC version could offer smoother performance and enhanced graphics.
- Rockstar has not confirmed PC details or a release date.

## Summary

GTA 6’s PlayStation 5 footage has heightened expectations for an eventual PC version, as it appears to combine ambitious visual detail with the usual compromises of fixed console hardware. The footage matters because it offers one of the clearest indications yet of the demands Rockstar’s next game may place on current systems, while leaving PC players hopeful for smoother performance and stronger graphical options.

PC Gamer says the game is thought to run at 30 frames per second on the base, seven-year-old PS5, with occasional slowdown, shimmering and blurred image edges visible in the material shown. The article suggests a PC release could support higher frame rates, better ray tracing and upscaling technologies such as DLSS or FSR, although Rockstar has not confirmed PC-specific features or a release date.
