‘Ahsoka’ Star Officially Confirms Season 2 Exit

Collider · 4 hours ago

Ahsoka actress Diana Lee Inosanto has confirmed she will not return for Season 2 of Disney+'s Ahsoka, marking one confirmed departure ahead of the show's delayed return in January 2027. The series had originally been expected to premiere before the end of 2026, but Disney confirmed at D23 that it has been pushed back, making this the second major Star Wars TV project of 2026 alongside Maul — Shadow Lord, which has already been renewed for a 2027 second season.

Rosario Dawson remains in the lead role of Ahsoka Tano for Season 2, and Ivanna Sakhno is expected to reprise Shin Hati. However, the late Ray Stevenson's character Baylan Skoll has been recast, with Game of Thrones actor Rory McCann (known for playing The Hound) stepping into the role. The exit adds to a run of casting changes for the show's second outing, which arrives as Star Wars fans are also gearing up for The Mandalorian and Grogu's streaming debut on 2 September.
