## Key points

- Disney is licensing Star Wars and Marvel sounds to Voicemod.
- The first Mandalorian & Grogu soundboards are available now.
- Voicemod reports 5.7 million monthly active users.

## Summary

Voicemod has reached a deal with Disney to add soundboards featuring Star Wars and Marvel quotes and effects to its AI-powered voice-modifying platform. The move gives users licensed sounds to bring into conversations and streams, and reflects entertainment companies’ growing willingness to work with AI-related services.

The first soundboards, featuring material from The Mandalorian & Grogu, are available now; more Star Wars and Marvel content is due later. Voicemod says it has 5.7 million monthly active users, who can use the sounds on platforms such as Twitch and Discord. The tools appear to offer sound clips rather than changing users’ voices to resemble characters. Disney previously licensed characters for OpenAI’s Sora, a deal that ended after OpenAI shut the service, while Hasbro has licensed character voices to ElevenLabs.
