Alex Warren's second studio album, Wildchild, has debuted at No. 1 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart, becoming the week's top-selling vinyl release. It follows his debut, You'll Be Alright, Kid, which peaked at No. 2 and included "Ordinary," 2025's biggest single in Australia; that song now sits at No. 4 on the current singles chart. Warren is touring Australasia as part of his Finding Family on the Road World Tour 2026.

Elsewhere on the chart, Paul Kelly's Seventy climbs to No. 2 following a deluxe reissue, marking his 14th top 10 album, while Mastodon's Marrow Deep enters at No. 6 and Ocean Sleeper's Peace When I'm Dead debuts at No. 7. Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley reach No. 12 with Souls On Show, and Jem Cassar-Daley's debut album lands at No. 18. On the singles chart, Ella Langley holds No. 1 for a 12th non-consecutive week with "Choosin' Texas," and the late Dolly Parton, who died on 25 August aged 80, sweeps the top three of ARIA's "On Replay" chart with "9 to 5," "Jolene" and "Islands In The Stream."
