Alex Winter will return to the New York stage in spring 2027 to star in and produce an Off-Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s *Incident at Vichy*. Directed by Kanika Asavari Vaish, the production will present Miller’s 1964 one-act drama as a contemporary warning about indifference and inaction in the face of atrocities.

The play is set in Vichy, France, in 1942, where men detained by German and Vichy French authorities face “racial inspection”. The revival will use actors of different races and genders while retaining Miller’s characters, and will avoid elaborate period design to emphasise the story’s present-day relevance; its venue, dates and further casting have not yet been announced.
