The "Unabomber" film features Shailene Woodley as an FBI agent, Jacob Tremblay as a young Kaczynski, and Russell Crowe as an unethical professor, with the narrative examining how a controversial Harvard psychiatric study may have contributed to Kaczynski's radical beliefs and violent actions between 1978 and 1995. For "The White Lotus" Season 4, Ludwig was among the first cast members announced, alongside AJ Michalka; the ensemble also includes Steve Coogan, Max Greenfield, Kumail Nanjiani, Marissa Long and Ari Graynor, with reports suggesting the storyline centres on rival filmmaking teams competing at the Cannes Film Festival.
