## Summary

“Operation Maomao” is an animated sci-fi comedy about an alien cat sent to Earth to seize its catnip supply, who becomes attached to a comfortable home and canned tuna. The project is being presented at the Taiwan Creative Content Fest as its creators seek partners and funding to develop the series.

The planned first season has 26 episodes of seven minutes each. Agent 19’s invasion is only 5% complete after two years living with the human who named him Maomao. Creator Jonathan Yu says the story also explores immigration, identity and belonging; the show is in development, with its season outlined and a trailer completed.
