Influencer Alix Earle has addressed months of speculation about a falling-out with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper in her new Netflix reality series, Earle Meets World, and in a companion interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Earle said she had stayed silent for so long partly because she is "scared of Alex Cooper" and feared being "baited" into a public spat, but felt the show was the right place to finally explain her side. The rift matters because Cooper is one of the most influential figures in podcasting and had previously worked closely with Earle through her Unwell Network.

Earle said she learned she had been dropped from Unwell, where she hosted the Hot Mess podcast since 2023, through media reports rather than directly, and described feeling "intimidated" by Cooper's potential reaction. She also recounted discomfort over a 2023 Call Her Daddy appearance in which she was asked explicit questions about her sexual past after drinking, alleging Cooper refused her request to remove some of the material. The feud speculation dates to February 2025 and escalated in April this year when Cooper publicly challenged Earle to speak up; representatives for Cooper declined to comment when approached by THR.
