All-electric camping gets a solar upgrade: The 2027 Pebble Flow
The Pebble Flow electric travel trailer is receiving major upgrades for 2027, including expanded solar panel capacity and enhanced autonomous features. The update reflects growing demand for electrified camping solutions that eliminate noisy generators and offer clean off-grid experiences.
The 2027 model introduces up to 4 kW of solar panels, designed to generate more electricity than typical daily camping consumption. The 45 kWh LFP battery is bidirectional, with a 12 kW output that can charge electric vehicles, supports DC fast charging to 80 per cent in under an hour, and captures energy through regenerative braking from in-wheel motors. New autonomous features include self-parking via Nvidia Orin processor with four cameras, and remote manoeuvrability plus tank controls via iPad. Prices start at $159,000 for the Magic Pack and $189,000 for the Founders Edition.
- Pebble Flow gets 4 kW solar panels to power camping trips off-grid.
- Self-parking electric trailer can also charge your EV and costs up to $189,000.
- Regenerative braking and bidirectional charging allow the trailer to generate and share power.

Electric camping trailers are a relatively new category in recreational vehicles, using rechargeable batteries instead of noisy diesel generators to power campsite amenities. Interest in these trailers is increasing as environmental awareness grows and battery technology advances, making them increasingly practical and affordable.
The Pebble Flow is one of the high-end electric travel trailers entering this growing market. These trailers are essentially mobile homes powered by batteries rather than generators, designed to support extended off-grid camping trips.
The availability of such products suggests the market is moving beyond a niche experiment towards mainstream adoption. Substantial manufacturer investment in electric camping typically reflects confidence in sustained consumer demand for quieter, cleaner camping alternatives.
