## Summary

Polygon has compiled a running list of the Marvel characters confirmed to appear in Insomniac Games' Wolverine, the PlayStation 5 exclusive due for release on 15 September, based on trailers shown at June's PlayStation State of Play and a follow-up trailer released on 16 July.

- Wolverine (Logan) headlines the game in his first lead video game role since 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, appearing in multiple costumes including his classic yellow suit and his "Patch" alter ego; other Wolverine-alias characters like X-23 and Daken remain unconfirmed.
- Jean Grey features prominently, fighting alongside Wolverine using telekinetic abilities, with trailers hinting at a romantic subplot between the pair; game director Mike Daly confirmed the story remains focused solely on Wolverine throughout.
- Mystique appears briefly in trailers as a shape-shifting mutant whose role is not yet detailed, possibly tied to the game's plot about tracking down kidnapped mutants.
- Sabretooth is also confirmed, continuing his role as one of Wolverine's classic adversaries, with further details expected as more of the game is revealed ahead of launch.
