The win extends MI London's recent dominance of the tournament, as the side, formerly known as Oval Invincibles before the competition's private investment, have now claimed the last three men's titles.

Chasing a target of 144, Curran finished unbeaten on 60 as MI London reached their target with 16 balls to spare, adding 93 runs from just 40 balls alongside Nicholas Pooran, who smashed a rapid 19-ball fifty on his way to 58 not out. Curran had earlier taken 2-27 with the ball, while seamer Richard Gleeson claimed 4-25 as Sunrisers Leeds were bowled out for 143, with Mitchell Marsh top-scoring on 41 before their innings lost momentum.
