The two nominations were for best contemporary hairstyling and best contemporary makeup, reflecting the show's acknowledged over-the-top style. This total ties "All's Fair" with HBO's critically acclaimed drama "The Wire", which earned only two Emmy nominations, both for writing, across its five seasons. Despite the poor reviews, "All's Fair" performed reasonably well for Hulu and was renewed for a second season shortly after its debut. The nominations will feature at the Creative Arts Emmys on 5 and 6 September, ahead of the primetime ceremony on 14 September on NBC, hosted by Mariska Hargitay.
