## Summary

Amanda Seyfried says she has no regrets about turning down the role of Gamora in *Guardians of the Galaxy*. She thought the film might fail and chose not to take on a demanding franchise role, saying the decision reflected her priorities and plans for family.

Seyfried said she disliked the prospect of long hours in the make-up trailer, stunts and heights, and preferred having something tangible to work with when acting. Zoe Saldaña took the role, appearing in three *Guardians* films, a holiday special and two *Avengers* films between 2014 and 2023.
