Amazon will launch Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles exclusively on its Luna cloud-gaming service on 31 July, alongside the second season of its animated Prime Video series. The detective-focused co-operative game is designed as a direct tie-in, letting players investigate Gotham’s underworld rather than relying chiefly on combat, and reinforces Amazon’s effort to link its video and gaming services.

Up to four players can take part across 11 episodes of evidence-decoding, lead-chasing and villain encounters, featuring Scarecrow, Dollmaker, Babyface and the Joker. Cast members from the show, including Hamish Linklater, Michelle C. Bonilla and Matthew Needham, reprise their roles; all 10 episodes of season two also arrive on 31 July. Luna is included with Prime and can be used through Fire TV, selected LG and Samsung televisions, or a web browser, with smartphones usable as controllers.
