Amazon trims Fire TV range to four devices with new 4K stick
Amazon has reduced its Fire TV streaming device range from five products to four, alongside announcing a new 4K streaming stick and remote. The change is a modest simplification, intended to make the options easier to navigate for shoppers.
The remaining lineup consists of three streaming sticks and a cube: the $35 Fire TV Stick HD, the new $60 Fire TV Stick 4K, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and the Fire TV Cube. The Cube was last updated in 2022 and launched at $140; Amazon says the new 4K stick will be half price at $30 during Prime Day next week.
