American Caper, the crime comic series created by Absurd Ventures’ Dan Houser, will conclude its first season with a double-sized 12th issue on 11 November 2026. The finale ends the story’s Wyoming setting in a violent climax, but Houser confirmed a new story arc will follow a few months later in a different, politically contrasting US state.

Published by Dark Horse Comics, Issue #12 will contain 44 story pages and feature three covers, including work by Tyler Boss, Becky Cloonan and Caroline Cash. Its plot centres on escalating chaos in Verona, Wyoming, involving family conflict, revenge, a cartel assassin and a firefight; the series’ first four issues have also been collected as Red-Pilled Blues.
