## Summary

In the season 13 finale of *American Horror Story*, the Coven defeats Satan, played by Paul Anthony Kelly, after Ben sacrifices himself. Satan is left trapped in *The Last Supper* painting, bringing the witches’ battle to a close and resolving several family revelations that shaped the season.

The finale also reveals that Madison gives birth to a daughter with Ben, whom Satan revives, while Fiona begins teaching Constance witchcraft. Kelly said the season was written as it went along, so he did not know his character’s ending when he joined; he described Mr Nas as capable of mercy, including saving the baby, and said he was disappointed by Ben’s sacrifice. Mr Phibes is condemned to make his long-desired biker film in Hell for eternity.
