- Ben DeSoto is revealed as the son of Satan.
- Ben, Cordelia and Queenie face danger before the finale.

## Summary

Joey Pollari says Ryan Murphy personally offered him the lead role in the 13th season of American Horror Story, after Pollari had worked as an event production assistant and appeared in several Murphy projects. He plays Ben DeSoto, whose story shifts from a boyfriend with a fear of the number 13 to the son of Satan, making him the audience’s entry point to the season’s returning characters and lore.

As the season approaches its 29 October finale, Ben, Cordelia and Queenie have been overtaken by Ben’s satanic father. Pollari also discusses working with Jessica Lange and Emma Roberts, and a major reveal involving Lange’s characters; the article flags spoilers from the first 12 episodes. His future in the series remains uncertain.
