American Idol has confirmed that its judging panel and host will remain unchanged for Season 25, with Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood returning alongside Ryan Seacrest. This continuity is significant for the long-running music competition show, which is undergoing a notable change by relocating to Georgia.

This will be the third consecutive year that Bryan, Richie and Underwood will sit together as judges, whilst Seacrest will continue as host—a role he has held since 2003. The relocation to Georgia brings the show closer to both Bryan and Underwood, who reside in Tennessee, though it affects Richie and Seacrest, who are based in Los Angeles and split their time between LA and New York respectively. Auditions have already commenced through the traditional "Idol Across America" tour, with the show maintaining recent format innovations including social voting, streaming on Disney+ and a new Monday premiere slot.
