## Key points

- Amy Poehler wants more romance in “The Pitt”.
- Noah Wyle might consider one kiss per four graphic scenes.
- Season 3 is due in January 2027.

## Summary

Amy Poehler urged Noah Wyle to add more romance to “The Pitt”, joking that the medical drama should balance its graphic scenes with the occasional kiss. Their exchange highlights the show’s focus on the intensity of hospital work, which Poehler said can be hard to watch.

Wyle, who plays Dr Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, resisted Poehler’s suggested one-to-one ratio of gore to smooches, but said he might consider one kiss for every four graphic scenes. He has won a Golden Globe and two consecutive Emmy awards for the role. The third season is due to premiere in January 2027 and will follow Robby’s return from a three-month sabbatical.
