An extraction shooter is offering a pay-in gameplay loop where you can earn money for each kill

BR1: Infinite, an upcoming extraction shooter from Bravo Ready, is testing a model in which players pay real money to enter matches and can earn money through kills and successful extractions. The approach matters because it turns competitive performance and death into direct financial stakes, raising concerns about gambling-like incentives, cheating and players losing money through unfair matches.

During its closed beta, paid servers reportedly cost between $0.10 and $10 to join, while players on a $1 server may receive $1 per kill and must pay again after dying. The test offers a $5 sign-up bonus, $10 an hour for playtesters and a minimum $25 withdrawal threshold; the game also includes loot boxes said to boost earnings. Bravo Ready describes itself as a gambling studio, and the article notes that BR1: Infinite does not currently have a Steam page.

  • BR1: Infinite links real-money entry fees to in-game earnings.
  • Death requires another payment to re-enter paid matches.
  • Critics fear cheating and gambling-like incentives.
