## Key points

- Iraola wants Liverpool to improve their attacking movement.
- Liverpool have scored 12 goals in three European games.
- Former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt leads Fenerbahce.

## Summary

Andoni Iraola says Liverpool need to improve their attacking play ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League match away to Fenerbahce, despite praising parts of their performance against Arsenal. A win would give Liverpool four consecutive victories in this season’s competition and move them closer to reaching the knockout phase.

Liverpool have scored 12 goals in three Champions League matches, compared with 11 in nine Premier League games. Iraola said it was too early to draw firm conclusions from the contrast, but identified runs into the box and reactions to second balls as areas to sharpen. Fenerbahce will be led by former Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt, recently appointed interim coach; Liverpool will be without injured midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.
