Andy Serkis will narrate *Odysseus Rising*, an Audible Original science-fiction adaptation of Homer’s *The Odyssey* written by Adrian Tchaikovsky. The project relocates the ancient epic to a distant future, extending Audible’s ambitions for cinematic audio storytelling and reflecting renewed interest in Homer’s work.

In the story, Odysseus attempts to return to the Ithaca after a decade of war, confronting oligarchs, parasites and hostile gods while travelling through space and time. In development since late 2024, the production is scheduled to launch on 25 February 2027, following the success of Christopher Nolan’s film adaptation of the epic.
