Angus Young has highlighted four AC/DC songs as particularly special to him, offering insight into the band’s enduring, riff-driven approach to rock music. The selections reflect both his admiration for brother Malcolm Young’s guitar writing and his appreciation of AC/DC’s most recognisable hits.

Young praised the riffs in ‘Riff Raff’ and ‘Bad Boy Boogie’, saying the latter has a subtle musical “twist” created by Malcolm. He also singled out ‘Thunderstruck’ for its demanding, intricate guitar part, which he says requires extensive warming up, and named ‘Back In Black’—the band’s tribute to late singer Bon Scott—as another favourite.
