Anker’s MindBase is a smart home hub, NAS and security guard
Anker has unveiled MindBase at IFA 2026, an AI-powered home hub that combines network-attached storage, smart home control and security monitoring in a single device. It is designed to sit at the centre of a connected home, using onboard AI processing to manage smart devices, store family data and act as an automated security watchman, marking Anker's push to unify its Eufy security ecosystem under one local, AI-driven brain.
The hub is built like a NAS, featuring a 64GB SSD and two bays for 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard drives, alongside dedicated AI compute hardware. Its security functions rely on integration with Anker's Eufy camera range, including the new Video Doorbell S4, Window Camera E10 and Fall Detection Sensor, feeding footage to MindBase so its AI can assess threats in real time and respond via lighting changes, verbal warnings or unspecified "active deterrence" measures. Anker has not yet confirmed pricing or a release date.
