## Key points

- Netflix’s London redundancies include production executive Anna Mallett.
- The cuts affect about 2% to 3% of its London office.
- They follow a global plan to remove 1,000 roles.

## Summary

New details show that Netflix’s UK redundancies include Anna Mallett, its former vice-president of production for the UK and EMEA. The cuts affect around 2% to 3% of the company’s London office, and extend job losses announced globally a few weeks earlier.

Mallett joined Netflix just over five years ago and worked on television and film across the region, during a period that included hits such as *Baby Reindeer*, *Adolescence* and *Money Heist*. She previously led ITN and held senior roles at BBC Studios. Netflix said it would cut 1,000 roles, about 6% of its global workforce; product, technology, legal and HR teams were among those most affected.
