Anna St. Louis and Jarvis Taveniere have launched Panamint, a new project whose first release is a cover of Post Malone’s “Wrapped Around Your Finger”. The pairing is a natural fit within the Woodsist-associated indie scene, although their choice to reinterpret a recent Post Malone track is more unexpected.

The song originally appeared on Post Malone’s 2022 album *Twelve Carat Toothache*, released during his shift away from rap before his later country direction. Panamint’s version is presented with a 1970s-style folk-pop sound and arrives with a music video; the duo say further releases are planned.
