Anya Taylor-Joy’s Sci-Fi Hit Refuses to Leave Apple TV’s Top 10
Anya Taylor-Joy continues to dominate Apple TV's charts, with her new limited series "Lucky" topping the viewership rankings since its 15 July debut, while her 2025 film "The Gorge" has now passed a major streaming milestone of its own. The sustained popularity underlines Taylor-Joy's strong pull as an Apple TV draw, with the streamer's original content repeatedly outperforming rivals despite competition from other recent hits on the platform.
"The Gorge", directed by Scott Derrickson and co-starring Miles Teller, was released as a Valentine's Day-themed Apple TV original blending romance with sci-fi, action, thriller and horror elements. It follows two characters stationed in opposing observation towers tasked with guarding the secrets of a mysterious gorge, and also features Sigourney Weaver in a brief supporting role. Despite Apple TV releasing several other popular films over the past year, including "F1", "Fountain of Youth" and "The Family Plan 2", "The Gorge" has remained at the top of the streamer's charts.
