Apple TV's dramedy Widow's Bay has been named the streamer's top show, capping a strong run for the series since its debut. Led by Matthew Rhys, the genre-bending mystery drew critical acclaim from the outset and has continued attracting viewers well after its first season concluded, prompting Apple TV to renew it for a second season.

The show launched with a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score, which has since settled at 98%, alongside a 92% audience score, and it topped Apple TV's global chart during its original run. It has also picked up 19 Emmy nominations. More than a month after its season finale, FlixPatrol data shows Widow's Bay still sitting in Apple TV's global top ten, currently ranked eighth, a notable feat given the platform's constant stream of new releases and established multi-season hits.
