## Summary

Apple TV and Legendary Television are discussing a third season of *Monarch: Legacy of Monsters* that would give the series a new direction, with different Titans from Legendary’s Monsterverse. The main new development is that they are seeking a new writing team and showrunner to take over from the creative team led by Chris Black.

Season 2 ended on 1 May, and renewal discussions come six months after its run finished. Legendary has a multi-series deal with Apple TV that also includes an upcoming spin-off centred on the younger Lee Shaw, with Wyatt Russell reprising his role as Colonel Lee Shaw.
