Apple TV has confirmed that its golf comedy "Stick" will return for Season 2 on 4 November, alongside first-look images of the new episodes. The renewal comes as Apple TV continues a strong run in sports comedy this year, following the record-breaking premiere of "Ted Lasso" Season 4, and underlines the streamer's push to build out feel-good sports programming as a signature genre.

Season 2 will bring back Owen Wilson as Pryce Cahill alongside Peter Dager's Santi and Lilli Kay's caddie Zero, with new images teasing that both will be raising their games. Having narrowly lost the Season 1 finale's ReadySafe Invitational, Santi now faces heightened expectations as a rising talent, while Pryce, egged on by rival Clark Ross (Timothy Olyphant), attempts a comeback to the PGA Tour years after his career stalled prematurely. Apple TV renewed the series for a second season immediately after its first-season finale aired.
