## Key points

- Spurs have won three league games in a row.
- De Zerbi’s side beat Palace after Mateta was sent off.
- Tottenham had 34 shots to Palace’s two.

## Summary

Tottenham have won three consecutive Premier League matches for the first time in almost 21 months, suggesting Roberto de Zerbi’s side may be finding the consistency that has eluded them. Saturday’s convincing win over Crystal Palace moved Spurs into the top half and followed victories over Coventry City and Chelsea.

Spurs benefited from Jean-Philippe Mateta’s 13th-minute dismissal, but controlled the match and created numerous chances. Archie Gray and Jan Paul van Hecke scored, while summer signings Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes showed signs of settling in. Tottenham had 34 shots to Palace’s two; Palace remain in the bottom three with two wins from nine league games.
