## Summary

Argentina's football manager became visibly distraught during a press conference following his team's loss to Spain in Sunday's World Cup final. The European champions secured victory through a goal in extra time, denying Scaloni the chance to make history as only the second manager ever to win back-to-back World Cup titles.

The 48-year-old, whose contract runs through December, expressed deep uncertainty about his future with the national team. During his emotional remarks, he emphasised the psychological toll of the campaign and suggested that rebuilding a competitive squad of the same calibre would present significant challenges, whilst indicating he would take time to reflect on whether to continue in the role.
