Billboard · 1 month ago

Ariana Grande brought out Ty Dolla $ign as a surprise guest during her Eternal Sunshine Tour show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday 16 July 2026, marking the first time he has joined her on stage to perform their 2020 collaboration "Safety Net". The appearance delighted fans and added a fresh highlight to a tour that has been revisiting multiple eras of Grande's career across an extensive setlist.

The show was the third of five nights in Grande's Brooklyn residency, and "Safety Net", from her 2020 album Positions, has featured regularly in the concert's third act, though Ty Dolla $ign's live appearance was new to the tour. He emerged on stage in a black leather outfit to duet the song's chorus before thanking Grande and leaving, after which she continued the set with "One Last Time" and later called the Brooklyn crowd the loudest of the tour so far. The track, Grande's first collaboration with the R&B singer, reached No. 52 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020; she plays two further Barclays Center shows on 18 and 19 July.
