Love Island USA host Ariana Madix has previewed the Season 8 reunion special, revealing it will include previously unseen footage that "cleared a lot of things" up for the show's Islanders. The reunion, filmed on 10 August, sees Madix return alongside co-host Andy Cohen to bring the contestants back together following the conclusion of the season, giving both viewers and cast members closure on storylines that played out during the show.

Madix told Entertainment Weekly that participants arrived ready to speak candidly and address any lingering grievances, and that the newly released footage was as revealing to her as it will be to audiences. The special will stream on Peacock on Monday, 31 August at 9pm ET, and will reunite winning couple Trinity Tatum and Bryce Alakai alongside fellow Islanders including Aniya Harvey, Melanie Moreno, Kayda Bosse, Dylan Wrona, Kenzie Annis, Corbin Mims, Caleb McDaniel, Tierra "Titi" Davis and KC Chandler, plus first-dumped Islander Sean Reifel and early favourites Beatriz Hatz and Sol Dean.
