## Key points

- A tornado threw an Arizona cyclist into the mud.
- Artem was treated in hospital and had no broken bones.
- A local charity offered help replacing his shattered bike.

## Summary

A man named Artem survived after a tornado swept him off his bicycle in Heber, Arizona, while he was returning from a grocery shop. The incident highlights how quickly strong winds can become dangerous, even during an ordinary journey.

Artem said the wind grew from a breeze to a force he could not resist, lifting his bicycle and throwing him into mud as debris struck his back and neck. He was taken to hospital, where a CT scan found no broken bones; he was given a neck brace and later went home. His bike was shattered, and a local charity offered money towards replacing it.
