Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1986 action film Raw Deal is now available to watch free on YouTube. Released between Commando and Predator, it is portrayed as a minor and flawed entry in his filmography, but one that may still appeal to viewers seeking uncomplicated 1980s action and nostalgia.

Schwarzenegger plays Mark Kaminski, a former FBI agent turned rural North Carolina sheriff who is recruited to infiltrate the Chicago mob. The 105-minute film was directed by John Irvin and has links to Italian screenwriters Luciano Vincenzoni and Sergio Donati, although its final screenplay was credited to Gary DeVore and Norman Wexler; critics gave it mixed but memorable assessments, with Pauline Kael calling it “reprehensible and enjoyable”.
