## Key points

- Arsenal hope their derby win can restart their season.
- They have four points from two Champions League matches.
- Renee Slegers praised supporters after the Tottenham victory.

## Summary

Arsenal face Benfica in the Women’s Champions League hoping to build on a 2-1 north London derby win over Tottenham. The result ended a frustrating run and could help revive a disappointing season, with Arsenal sixth in the Women’s Super League.

Arsenal have won two of seven league matches and taken four points from their first two Champions League games. They let a 2-0 lead slip to draw away to Paris FC last month, leaving them short of a perfect start. Head coach Renee Slegers thanked supporters and said the Tottenham win showed the connection between the team and its fans.
