New South Wales Police have launched an urgent search for Obie Ross, a 12-year-old boy who disappeared three days ago in Windsor, on the outskirts of Sydney. He was last seen at around 7.30am on Tuesday, but was not reported missing until the following day, when officers could not locate or contact him. Police and his family have expressed serious concern for his welfare given his young age, and are appealing to the public for help finding him.

Obie is known to travel on the rail network and is believed to frequent the Mt Druitt, Blacktown and Parramatta areas of Sydney. He is described as being of Pacific Islander or Māori appearance, approximately 165cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.
