An Australian woman from Hervey Bay, Queensland, has come forward to claim a $20 million Oz Lotto division one prize, saying she plans to keep working despite the windfall. She discovered her win by chance while checking her ticket on her way to work, initially misreading the amount before realising she had won millions rather than thousands.

The winning ticket was one of two division one entries in Oz Lotto draw 1695 on Tuesday 11 August 2026, each worth $20 million, and was bought at Nextra Fraser Gateway Newsagency in Urraween. Store owner Steven Chow said it was the outlet's second division one win in a week, following a Weekday Windfall syndicate win six days earlier, bringing its total to seven division one wins in three and a half years.
