Evie Gallagher gave Scotland an early lead before Australia responded through Desiree Miller, while Helen Nelson’s penalty restored Scotland’s five-point advantage at the interval. Samantha Wood, Brianna Hoy and Faitala Moleko scored after the break, with Wood adding two conversions and three penalties; the teams meet again in Sydney next weekend.
