Australia’s VANISHING POINT Releases ‘Sirens’ Single From Upcoming ‘Eremition’ Album

Blabbermouth ·

Australian melodic metal band Vanishing Point have released “Sirens”, their second new single in as many months and a preview of their upcoming album, *Eremition*. Guitarist Chris Porcianko says the song warns that technology and constant information can coexist with declining morality and care for others, and that it is connected to the band’s previous album, *Dead Elysium*.

*Eremition*, the group’s seventh studio album, is due worldwide on 20 November, following a six-year gap since *Dead Elysium*. The Melbourne band formed more than three decades ago and has toured internationally, including Europe and Japan, and performed with acts such as Iron Maiden and Nightwish. Porcianko describes the album as exploring loss, understanding and moving forward.
